Lakers reserve guard Xavier Henry left Sunday Night’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers at the end of the 1st quarter. Henry left the game with head trainer Gary Vitti, and it was revealed that Henry suffered a strained right knee, according to TWC SportsNet’s twitter account.

Henry is added to the long list of Lakers injuries this season. Pau Gasol is missing his second consecutive game with an upper respiratory issue while the likes of Steve Nash, Steve Blake and Kobe Bryant have all been out for an extended time.

Jordan Farmar recently re-joined the team last Wednesday to give the Lakers a little depth up top, but Henry’s injury could potentially cut into that depth should he leave the Lakers for an extended period with the injury.

Henry will receive an MRI on Monday morning to see if there is any structural damage to the knee.
