One of the biggest criticisms of Dwight Howard this season has been on his effort and hustle. Last Saturday night against the Sacramento Kings, Howard quieted the critics with this straight hustle play.

In the 4th quarter, after Dwight Howard had just grabbed an offensive board and kicked it out to Earl Clark for the three pointer, Dwight Howard actively waited underneath the basket yet again. In a nothing but hustle play, Dwight boxes out Chuck Hayes managing to tip the offensive rebound towards him, after which he drives baseline and dishes it to a cutting Earl Clark for the two-handed jam.
