The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Portland Trail Blazers Wednesday night, despite being without Kobe Bryant who will be sitting out the rest of the preseason to rest. With Bryant out, Jeremy Lin, who returned back to game action Tuesday night against the Phoenix Suns, had 13 points and five assists, but also committed six turnovers in the Lakers win.

After the game, Lin admits that there were stretches of the game where he felt good but other stretches where he felt “out of breath.”

I played 24 minutes tonight and felt like I played like 62 minutes!” Lin laughed after the game.

Lin also notes that in the preseason, teams aren’t showing their best defensive schemes or best defensive players, so it’s difficult to gauge where the Lakers are at.

The Lakers will take tomorrow off from practice for treatment. The Lakers travel to Las Vegas on Friday to take on the Sacramento Kings.
