At Lakers practice today, Kobe Bryant spoke to the media for the first time since returning from China. He addressed the ESPN player rankings and GM poll publicly, as well as changing  his Twitter avatar. Plus, Kobe talked about the tension between him and Dwight at the beginning of last year and how important chemistry is to the team. Mike D’Antoni says Chris Kaman was not at practice today and doesn’t expect him to play tomorrow (still overcoming stomach issues). D’Antoni is unsure whether Steve Nash will play tomorrow, as his neck is still stiff. Nash says he should be ready for opening night and addresses lingering health issues.
