Lakers Rumors: Jordan Hill Most Likely To Be Moved At Deadline

Jordan Hill has already been the subject of some trade rumors. Though going to the Brooklyn Nets is highly unlikely, Hill could still be headed somewhere else.

Bleacher Report’s Kevin Ding believes that, of the current Lakers being shopped at the trade deadline, Hill is most likely to be moved:

Jordan Hill is definitely the guy who could help a contender, maybe put them over the top. Defense and rebounding are his strong points, and a team that’s trying to win a championship, in short spurts Jordan Hill’s energy can put them over the top.

Ding’s theory makes sense. There are a number of teams, such as the Miami Heat, Golden State Warriors, and Los Angeles Clippers, who could use one more serviceable big man off the bench.

Hill has proven he can produce in short minutes, and his energy can become contagious to an entire team.

Of course he isn’t the only possible Laker who could be moved as both Chris Kaman and Steve Blake have been talked about recently.

Even if he isn’t traded, Hill is unlikely to return to the Lakers next season, so it could be wise to get something in return for him.
