NBA: Los Angeles Clipperss-Media DayOver the course of the NBA off-season and throughout the summer, two-time NBA champion Lamar Odom was rumored to be seriously considering a return to the Los Angeles Lakers. The team appeared to be interested and Odom was unwilling to leave Los Angeles with only two teams to choose from.

Although Odom was potentially headed toward a reunion with the Lakers, the team has seemingly moved on. Odom’s life is a mess at this point in time with no telling what will happen in this endless saga involving drug abuse and a rocky relationship with Khloe Kardashian.

With Odom’s immediate future being uncertain to say the least, the Lakers will head in another direction. The Los Angeles Clippers have also taken the same stance with the team signing former Laker Antawn Jamison recently.

Odom’s NBA options in Los Angeles may be exhausted with the veteran power forward waiting too long to make a decision, but anything can happen from here on out if the former Sixth Man of the Year can get his life together.
