Lakers Rumors & News Recap: Kobe’s 6th Sense and Is He Better than Mike?

Was Kobe able to predict the Dwight Howard trade? Kevin Durant seems to think so. Reportedly, even though the eventual blockbuster deal was still a month from coming to fruition after Bryant left for the Olympics, Kobe was talking all sorts of trash to his teammates in London about the reloaded Lakers.

I am sure part of this was returning some lost pride after losing to the Thunder in the playoffs, but maybe Kobe knew something the rest of us didn’t. We all know he had talked with Nash and was a major reason the Suns player came to Los Angeles. Was he also flirting with Howard to get him to put on the Purple and Gold? Durant knows so.

While promoting his movie this morning, Kevin made a bold statement that Kobe’s trash-talking with Team USA was more like a warning; Bryant knew.

Apart from his sixth sense, Bryant is also a baller. Yet, is he the best of all time? I remember watching Jordan and Bryant play each other, sitting on my couch with my dad in the Miracle Mile district of LA. But is he better than Mike? Michael Jordan will always be one of the best players of all time, and honestly, this question is too tough to answer. Some will always believe Jordan is the NBA’s best player, while fresher, younger perspectives may root for Kobe.

But a picture can say 1,000 words; check out this video from Pro Basketball Talk and tell us what you think. So similar its scarey, right?
