mettaworldpeace2012With the 2012-13 NBA season in the books for the Los Angeles Lakers and an uncertain future for the majority of the players on the team, there’s no telling what will happen over the summer.

One player on shaky ground is veteran forward Metta World Peace. The defensive-minded forward has a player option to stick around for another season, but there’s been speculation that if he picks up the option the team will use the amnesty clause to clear his contract off the payroll.

While World Peace awaits his fate with the Lakers, the former Defensive Player of the Year has been very active on Twitter. Although World Peace said he was taking an extended break from one of the biggest social networks around, the one-time NBA champion has been in-game tweeting during the NBA playoffs while entertaining fans and followers in the process.

So despite the fact that World Peace may very well be looking for work in the coming months, the veteran isn’t letting the uncertain future get him down or stress him out. World Peace is as cool a character as there is in the NBA today and has no problem letting the world no exactly what’s on his mind at any given moment.
