Coming into the game against the Houston Rockets, Kobe Bryant was making news about a potential dunk over a Houston Rockets player, but it had nothing to do with him.

Kobe had challenged Larry Nance Jr. to dunk on Dwight Howard, but it was the five-time champion who turned back the clock and turned in one of his best highlights of the year.

In the third quarter, Kobe drove past Trevor Ariza and rose up for a massive slam over Rockets big man, Clint Capela that brought the Staples Center crowd to their feet. Afterwards, Kobe let out a laugh and stuck out his tongue in classic fashion.

It was Kobe’s first dunk of the season and let people know that he still has some boost left in his legs. Even though it is his final season, Kobe is still providing highlights for his fans before he goes out.
