Lakers Video: Lonzo Ball Performs ‘Bad And Boujee’ While Taking On LaVar Ball On ‘Lip Sync Battle’

Lonzo Ball won’t return to the court with Los Angeles Lakers until after the All-Star break as he recovers from a sprained MCL in his left knee, but fans wanting to see him on TV will get a chance to do so Thursday when he and his father LaVar Ball face off in the latest episode of “Lip Sync Battle.”

The episode will just be the Ball family’s latest foray into reality television, as LaVar, Lonzo and the rest of the Big Baller clan already have their own series on Facebook Live aptly titled “Ball in the Family,” which is currently in its second season.

In an appearance filmed months ago (aka before his knee injury), Lonzo got into full costume as Quavo of the Migos and lip-synced to the group’s hit song “Bad and Boujee” as he was complemented by a full regiment of back-up dancers.

That had his father, hosts Chrissy Teigen and LL COOL J as well as the audience cracking up in laughter. “Lip Sync Battle” released a short preview of Lonzo and LaVar’s appearance, which interested fans can check out below.

Lonzo’s commitment to the bit by dressing up in full costume here is phenomenal, although we’ll see if he has better dance skills in the full performance than he displayed in the short clip above.

Which song LaVar will perform is currently unknown, but it would be the most predictable thing in the world (not to mention hilarious) if the world’s biggest Big Baller Brand promoter performed one of Lonzo’s previously released tracks from his upcoming mixtape.

Unfortunately, the show debuts during the Lakers’ game against the Timberwolves on Thursday night, but should be at the very least setting your DVRs for just to see if anything tops how bizarre the clip above is.
