Los Angeles Lakers Kicks of the Week: First Round Playoff Edition

With the season over we still we be keeping up with the coolest Lakers kicks. Later on, we will have a Summer League edition and a few blasts from the past. However, until then be sure to check out the latest Kicks Of The Week for the Lakers, which was from their final week of the season.

No. 5: Andrew Goudelock

The late season call-up and D League MVP Andrew Goudelock kicks off our list at No. 5. Goudelock made his return late in the regular season after Kobe went down and was able to rock some of the Kobe 8’s all purple colorway.

Next Page: Jodie Meeks

No. 4: Jodie Meeks

Jodie Meeks has had an interesting season with the kicks he has selected to wear. He has worn everything from Kobe’s to Foams, and this past week he has rocked the Nike Lunar Hypergamer Low. They look great with the Lakers home uniforms and for his style of play he really doesn’t need a high top shoe, so these work well for Jodie.

No. 3: Steve Nash and Antwan Jamison

Even though it’s just pregame introductions we are going to give this one to two players. Antwan in the Adidas Top Ten’s and Nash in the purple Kobe 8’s. It seems like Kobe hooked most of the team up with the Playoff Edition kicks because more than half of the team has worn them.

Next Page: Earl Clark

No. 2: Earl Clark

Coming in at number two is Earl Clark. Clark, who is rocking the Kobe 8 Home Player Exclusives in the last game of the regular season. Clark has rocked Kobe’s most of the season and he has even been blessed with some Player Exclusives like these joints pictured above.

Next Page: Steve Blake

No 1: Steve Blake

Making his return to the number one spot is Steve Blake. Blake, when healthy, has worn the best player exclusive Kobe 8’s besides Kobe himself, With the improved play as of late Blake’s kicks have gotten better and better. The kicks in the photo are a Player Exclusive, but they look like the Year of the Snake versions. Even though Kobe is out he has passed the heat to his teammates and Steve Blake has benefited greatly this year, both from Kobe’s kicks and his leadership.
