The Los Angeles Lakers will meet up with the Chicago Bulls on Thursday night in a game that could lead to their longest losing streak of the season. Having already lost seven in a row already, the Lakers will need to put on an impressive performance if they hope to break the streak. Guard Lou Williams will miss the game due to illness, which means that young players D’Angelo Russell and Anthony Brown will need to step up.
The game will also feature the first time that Kobe Bryant has taken the floor at STAPLES Center against former teammate, Pau Gasol. Gasol helped bring two titles to Los Angeles, and proved in many ways to be the perfect partner on the court for the Black Mamba. Nostalgia will be in the air, but once the game starts, both teams will push hard for a win.
