The Los Angeles Lakers return home to the STAPLES Center on Friday night to take on the Memphis Grizzlies. The two clubs played on Wednesday in a game that saw the Grizzlies easily pick up the win, 128-119. The Lakers are hoping to change their fortunes, but they are going to have to really pick up their play if they want to outclass Mike Conley, Zach Randolph, and the rest of the Memphis squad.
Star guard Kobe Bryant will not play due to a sore shoulder, which means that he will only have a maximum of 22 more games left in his career. Rookie Anthony Brown will start at small forward in Bryant’s place, so the Lakers lineup will get even younger.
