The Los Angeles Lakers snapped their four-game losing streak on Tuesday night, beating the New Orleans Pelicans, 95-91 after five lead changes in the fourth quarter. Lou Williams led the way with 19 points, and despite shooting just 4-14, made all 10 of his free throw attempts, dished out eight assists and nabbed four rebounds.

After the game, Williams discusses the growth and development of the Lakers young core, specifically in their confidence to make decisions. Rookie D’Angelo Russell finished with 13 points (4-8 shooting), four rebounds and three assists in his 24 minutes off the bench, but Byron Scott decided to finish the game with Williams, Jordan Clarkson, Anthony Brown, Julius Randle, and Larry Nance, Jr.

After the game, Scott discusses what went into his decision for the final five on the court and Russell is asked whether he’s affected by Scott’s decision. Plus, Scott commends the resiliency of the young Lakers squad to grind out a win.
