In Kobe Bryant’s final matchup against Carmelo Anthony, it was a Jose Calderon game-winning three-pointer that gave the New York Knicks the 90-87 edge over the Los Angeles Lakers. Sunday night at Staples Center saw plenty of battles between the two NBA icons, both trading baskets in the final minutes of action, and Anthony admitted there was definitely an emotional component to the down to the wire win.

A non-nostalgic Bryant was most ecstatic about former Laker champion Sasha Vujacic in his post-game interview. He also had plenty to say about Phil Jackson and urged New York to trust him.

Head coach Byron Scott also explains sitting D’Angelo Russell in crunch time. The rookie had one of his poorer performances of the year, finishing with just four points (1-7) two assists, two rebounds and a steal in his 22 minutes of action. It’s all in our videos below.
