The Los Angeles Lakers will look to improve on their 9-34 record when they host the Sacramento Kings at STAPLES Center. While Los Angeles is currently 0-2 against Sacramento on the season, the purple and gold nearly pulled off a monumental comeback in their last meeting on Jan. 7 thanks to a 29-16 fourth quarter rally.
The Lakers will be without rookie standout Larry Nance Jr., who is still nursing a sore knee. Julius Randle will take Nance’s place in the starting lineup. Kobe Bryant will be in action, but may be limited thanks to a sore Achilles.
After coming so close to stealing a win the last time they saw the Kings, the Lakers should come out aggressive and confident. Will it be enough to get another victory?
