Los Angeles Lakers forward Luke Walton and Memphis Grizzlies star Rudy Gay are expected to miss the Lakers-Grizzlies game tonight at 5:00 p.m. PST.

Walton will miss the Lakers’ current road-trip due to a stomach flu, so don’t expect to see Walton suited up for the next several games.

However, Walton has not see a lot of playing time for the Lakers this season, so the team should not miss him during this road-trip.

On the other side, the Grizzlies’ main scorer Rudy Gay will likely sit out this game due to a concussion.

Gay is a major piece to Memphis’ success and if he cannot play in this game, it will have trouble competing against a defensive juggernaut Lakers team.

Before Gay can even think about playing in today’s game, he will have to go through several concussion tests set forth by the NBA.

Lakers guard Kobe Bryant had to deal with the same thing after the All-Star break, but luckily he was able to play in the Lakers’ next game. However, only time can tell if the concussion symptoms are still affecting Rudy Gay.
