Many people were extremely saddened when news came out that former Los Angeles Laker Lamar Odom was fighting for his life.
Very few, however, were as close to Odom as Metta World Peace. World Peace and Odom both grew up in New York and played on the same AAU team.
World Peace was openly critical of the Kardashian family in the midst of the Odom drama, but in a recent interview with Vlad TV, he admitted he simply hated everyone at the time because his friend was on his deathbed:
In the interview, World Peace was honest about not quite knowing the entire situation especially in regards to being bitter towards the Kardashian family. He also noted that the only thing he cared about was Odom’s kids being with him.
