After his third consecutive season that has ended prematurely due to injury, many questions have surrounded Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant. Next year will be his 20th season and some wonder if he will be able to come back again.

However, Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak believes Kobe will return next season according to Baxter Holmes of ESPN:

Before the season, Kobe spoke about enjoying the process, and that being his driving force and this injury looks like it will be the same thing. He said that he wants to see if he can come back and Bryant will undoubtedly do every thing in his power to make sure that happens.

Adjusting his game again will likely be a necessity as he and the Lakers began to realize his limitations this season. In his last few games, Bryant became more of a facilitator, topping out with a 17-assist performance against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Last season is expected to be Bryant’s last in the NBA and hopefully he will be able to get through it without anymore injuries. No player wants to go out because their body wouldn’t allow him to keep going. After three straight injury filled seasons, Kobe’s may finally be giving in, but he won’t go out without a fight.
