In the final game of the 2016 NBA Christmas Day matchups, the Los Angeles Lakers came home from a brutal roadtrip to beat the L.A. Clippers, 111-102. It was the first time since the season-opener of the 2013-14 season that the Lakers beat their hallway rivals, and their 22nd victory on Christmas Day.

For the first time this season (and the first time since April 12th, 2015), all five starters scored in double-figures. Timofey Mozgov and Nick Young led the way with 19 points, while D’Angelo Russell followed behind with 14 and Luol Deng and Julius Randle each chipped in 13.
After winning just one of their 13 games to start December and coming back from their seven-games in 12 nights roadtrip just 1-6, it was a win the Lakers desperately needed to stay with the course.
