The Los Angeles Lakers picked up a big win against the Houston Rockets on Tuesday and the next night received some help from the San Antonio Spurs defeating the Denver Nuggets.
That moved the Lakers into third place in the Western Conference standings by virtue of holding a tiebreaker over the Nuggets. Now L.A. looks to further solidify their playoff outlook in a pivotal matchup with the Golden State Warriors.
The Warriors trail the Lakers by two games and currently are in fifth place.
