The Los Angeles Clippers will have their hands full this off-season as they will be looking to sign Chris Paul for the long-term. Paul changed the Clippers overnight when he was traded, but his tenure with the team could come to an end this summer.

As an unrestricted free agent Paul has the ability to sign with any team he wants to, and knowing his competitive mentality, he will want to go to a franchise that can help him win championships.

At first, it was essentially a forgone conclusion that Paul would sign a deal with the Clippers, but ESPN reports that the point guard is not happy with the Clippers’ organization.

“He’s angry right now and his anger is directed toward the Clippers organization,” the source said. “Chris is a man of principle and if he feels like you’ve gone against his principles, it will affect how he feels about you. He’s very agitated that his name has been put out there as the reason for Vinny’s firing. He had nothing to do with it.”

Los Angeles recently decided not to bring back Vinny Del Negro, despite being the most successful coach in franchise history. There were times last season when his job was in jeopardy, but the team chose to stick with the coach for the entire postseason.

Del Negro and the Clippers won their first ever division title in 2012-13, but they did not do much in the Playoffs as they were ousted in the first round by the Grizzlies.
