30. Charlotte Bobcats (Last weeks ranking 30): The Charlotte Bobcats are 3-21 on the year and are coming off an 11- game losing streak.

29. New Orleans (28): The New Orleans Hornets are 1-9 in their last 10 games and are on a five game losing streak.

28. Washington Wizards (30): The Washington Wizards are on a four game losing streak and half of their wins have been against the Bobcats.

27. Detroit Pistons (29): Detroit is 2-8 in their last 10 games and are 6-20 on the season.

26. Toronto Raptors (26): The Toronto Raptors are 8-16 on the season and have won four of their last ten games.

25. New Jersey (25): The New Jersey Nets have an overall record of 8-17 and have played .500 basketball their past 10 games despite a two-game losing streak.

24. Sacramento Kings (24): The Kings have improved offensively but that is only half the battle. With a record of 8-15 the Kings need to improve defensively.

23. Golden State Warriors (23): The Golden State Warriors showed little signs of improvement this week and need to improve the center and forward spots.

22. New York Knicks (22): The New York Knicks continue to struggle with an overall record of 9-15.

21. Phoenix Suns (21): The Phoenix Suns have been struggling offensively with a record of 9-14.

20. Cleveland Cavaliers (20): The Cavs showed little signs of improvement this week at the 20th spot. Their overall record is 9-13.

19. Milwaukee Bucks (19): The Milwaukee Bucks were able to carry the momentum into this week winning four of five games, defeating the Lakers and Heat in big wins.

18. Minnesota Timberwolves (18): The Timberwolves have shown they are a weak defensive team. Maybe with Michael Beasley and JJ Barea back in the lineup they will show signs of improvement.

17. Memphis Grizzlies (9): The Grizzlies struggled this week, losing four in a row and are starting to look like they need Randolph back ASAP.

16. Boston Celtics (17): The Celtics have won eight of their last 10 with solid play from the bench and Paul Pierce back in action.

15. Houston Rockets (14): A great home team but struggles on the road. Their record is 13-11.

14. Utah Jazz (7): After a great week last week the Utah Jazz fall back to the 14th spot in the power rankings. Their overall record is 13-9.

13. Portland Trail Blazers (15): The Portland Trail Blazers have six players on their roster averaging double figures. After a hot start to the regular season they seem to have cooled off a bit. Their overall record is 14-10.

12. Orlando Magic (12): After a strong start to the regular season the wheels seem to be falling off the bus in Orlando. Dwight wants out and no one seems happy.

11. Los Angeles Lakers (16): The Los Angeles Lakers have an overall record of 14-10 coming off a tough loss in Denver.

10. Dallas Mavericks (8): The Dallas Mavericks are 14-11 on the year and Dirk is having his worst statistical season since his rookie year. New additions to the team, Vince Carter and Lamar Odom, have picked up the slack.

9. San Antonio (10): The Spurs improved to 16-9 winning their last four games. Guard Tony Parker put up 42 points against Oklahoma City and became the all-time franchise assists leader for the San Antonio Spurs.

8. Atlanta Hawks (5): The Atlanta Hawks have lost their last two games but have managed to remain competitive with the absence of Al Horford in the lineup.

7. Denver Nuggets (4): The Denver Nuggets have shown they are a deep team with six players averaging double figures. They have an overall record of 15-9 and were on a six game winning streak this week before losing a tough one to the Clippers.

6. Los Angeles Clippers (13): The Clippers have won seven of their last 10 games and have an overall record of 14- 7. Signing Kenyon Martin will help with depth on the bench.

5. Philadelphia 76ers (6): With a huge win over the Bulls, the 76ers are playing well in an extremely talented Eastern Conference. Their overall record is 17-7.

4. Indiana Pacers (11): The Pacers had impressive road wins over the Lakers, Bulls and Magic. Is this team for real?

3. Chicago Bulls (2): The Chicago Bulls have a great record at 20-6 but recently suffered losses on the road to the Heat and 76ers. They have also been without Luol Deng due to an injured left wrist.

2. Miami Heat (3): The Miami Heat seem to be back running on all cylinders. The big three are back and LeBron James has elevated his game once again averaging 29.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 7.0 assists.

1. Oklahoma City Thunder (1): The Thunder currently have the best record in the league and have been playing well at home and on the road. Their overall record is 18-5.
