The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Dallas Mavericks in the semifinals on Sunday evening, 108-98, and are headed to the NBA Summer League championship. Kyle Kuzma once again led the way for the Lakers with 24 points and is now averaging 20.5 points per game, while Matt Thomas followed close behind with his first 20-point game of summer league.

Lonzo Ball recorded a double-double in the first half and finished with 16 points and 10 assists before exiting the game with calf tightness. After being up by as many as 26 points, the Mavericks came roaring back after Ball’s absence, cutting their deficit to just one point. But, the Lakers second and third unit players stepped up big time and helped lead the Lakers to victory.

The Lakers shot lights out against Dallas, finishing 77.3% from three-point range and 60.7% from the field.
