Part of the basketball swagger is to look great and consequently play great. With the national exposure, there is no better place to be great than in the 2014 NCAA Tournament.

While it is important be comfortable in your footwear, with today’s basketball players it is just as important to be stylish and to stand out. Amongst the vast selection, many athletes have chosen to go with Kobe Bryant’s Nike sneakers.

It appears that the Kentucky Wildcats are large supporters of the Kobe 9s as we spot them sporting the kicks. James Young, Willie Cauley-Stein, and NBA draft prospect Julius Randle are seen wearing the “Perspectives” and “Maestro” Elite models.

In the Final Four match-up with Wisconsin, Randle is seen in another pair of Kobe 9 Elite, this time it’s the “Details”. It looks like Kentucky’s shoe game has carried them into the National Championship.

Before the Kobe 9 EMs were released, the last version of Kobe low tops were the Kobe 8 and Venomenon 4. Of all the Kobes, the 8s were the most commonly worn. Many players have been spotted in the Kobe 8s but none more important than Forward DeAndre Daniels whom has helped lead UConn to reach the National Championship.
