Recently Brandon Jennings, an L.A. native, went to Twitter saying that Kobe is the greatest of all-time. Now, Bryant’s teammate, and another L.A. native, Nick Young has taken to Twitter saying the same thing:

It’s not hard to believe that Young would believe this. He grew up a Lakers fan in Los Angeles and as he was going through high school in college, Kobe was blossoming as one of the league’s best players.

Jennings has been on a Twitter tear lately, not only calling Kobe the greatest, but also saying that his number should be retired across the NBA. Young stopped short of that declaration, but he will get the opportunity to play with Kobe this season, after Bryant played in only six games last season.

Bryant supporters are likely to get some more ammunition this season as Bryant is only 592 points behind Jordan for third on the NBA’s all-time scoring list. Surpassing Jordan there will only further this unending debate.
