Kobe Bryant kicked off his 8th annual Basketball Academy on Wednesday at the University of California, Santa Barbara. In addition to emphasizing the value of teamwork and self-confidence, the camp focuses on the five fundamentals of basketball, the Flex offense, the Princeton offense, and the Triangle offense. Kids ages 8 to 18 partake in five days of fun basketball, plus the campers have a picture day with Kobe and an autograph session on the last day of camp. Check out our photo gallery above of Day 1. And, to see what Bryant had to say in his press conference to the media, head over here.
