The Harold and Carole Pump Foundation, run by twin brothers Dana and David Pump, honors their father Harold, who passed away of cancer in 2000. This year’s annual gala also celebrated the life of their mother, Carole, who passed away in 2012. The foundation has been able to raise more than $5.5 million for the Carole Pump Women’s Center, Harold and Carole Pump Department of Radiation Oncology, and the Leavey Cancer Center at Northridge Medical Center.

The foundation’s mission focuses on raising awareness for the treatment and cure of cancer. Athletes like Shaquille O’Neal, Norm Nixon, David Robinson, Marcus Allen and Gary Sheffield attended this year’s gala to help raise funds for the development of cancer treatments, programs and services.
