With the Los Angeles Lakers working towards owning enough cap space to sign two max level players next summer, many believe that LeBron James coming west could be a real possibility.
That rumor was taken to a new level when it was recently reported that James’ wife prefers to be in Los Angeles full-time, as they own a home in Brentwood.
One former Laker who would like to see James in the purple and gold is Rick Fox, who recently said that he believes James would be a natural fit in Los Angeles, via SiriusXM NBA Radio:

James has already proven that he would leave his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers, as he left to join the Miami Heat in the summer of 2010. After winning his first two NBA Championships with the Heat, James returned home and went back to the Cavaliers.
He brought Cleveland their first major sports title since 1964 when the Cavaliers overcame a 3-1 deficit to the Golden state Warriors in 2016.
But due to their longterm salary commitments and the dominance of the Warriors this past season, many believe that the Cavaliers title hopes have gone out the window, and James’ best chance at another championship may be to go elsewhere in 2018.
If that is the case then the Lakers could be a prime destination for him, as they have a talented young core and the ability to sign two max players, allowing James to team up with another superstar like Paul George.
One thing that is for sure is that next summer should be an interesting one for the Lakers and the entire NBA.
