At first, all signs pointed in the right direction, and it seemed as though Kobe would be on the court soon. However, the latest update reports that Bryant may be watching opening night on the bench, and not an the Staples Center court. This is a big blow for the Lakers, as both Kobe Bryant and Andrew Bynum will most likely miss the beginning of the NBA season.
