Kobe Bryant went through knee surgery during the summer, and has been trying to get back to 100% ever since.  At first, all signs pointed in the right direction, and it seemed as though Kobe would be on the court soon.  However, the latest update reports that Bryant may be  watching opening night on the bench, and not an the Staples Center court.  This is a big blow for the Lakers, as both Kobe Bryant and Andrew Bynum will most likely miss the beginning of the NBA season.   On the bright side, these key players will be ready to go when it matters most — in June.
