The Los Angeles D-Fenders started off last night’s game against the Idaho Stampede with a rough first quarter, but this would be no indication of the outcome and performances to follow.

Terrence Williams had a completely lights out performance last night, scoring a franchise record of 50 points. Twenty of these 50 points would be scored in a huge third quarter for Williams. He broke the 49 point record set earlier this year by former teammate Manny Harris.

This performance would be complimented by 19 points and eight rebounds from both C.J. Williams and the newest D-Fender Shawne Williams.  The numbers put up by these two would help push the D-Fenders ahead of the Stampede, especially when Los Angeles was struggling to maintain their lead in the early minutes of the fourth.

Only a few days ago, Williams was named the NBA D-League performer of the week. With this record-setting performance, the D-League may see Williams’ name there for a second straight week.
