NBA Game Previews for January 18th, 2011

Atlanta Hawks at Miami Heat- NBA TV- 7:30 P.M. EST/ 4:30 P.M. PST

Hawks- (27-15) Heat- (30-12)

The Atlanta Hawks will travel to Miami to take on their division rivals.  The Hawks are coming off a win vs. the Kings on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and they look to carry the momentum to South Beach.  The Hawks have by far more depth than the Heat, and they are fully capable of winning.

The Heat have lost three straight games, and Bosh and LeBron are questionable for tonight’s game.  The Heat will surely miss their two stars, and Dwayne Wade cannot single-handedly beat the Hawks.  If Bosh and LeBron are to miss this game, the Hawks will have no problem vs. the Heat.

Prediction: Hawks win

Charlotte Bobcats at Charlotte Bobcats- 8:00 P.M. EST/ 5:00 P.M. PST- NBA League Pass

Bulls- (28-13) Bobcats- (15-24)

The Chicago Bulls will return home after their win vs. the Grizzlies yesterday.  The Bulls will be without Carlos Boozer and Joakim Noah, but they should not need them in this game.  Derrick Rose has carried the scoring load before, and expect him to do it again.

The Bobcats are having a sub-par season, but they have improved after hiring coach Paul Silas.  However, the Bobcats do not play well against good teams and have trouble guarding opposing point guards.  Derrick Rose and the Bulls should win this game behind their home-court crowd.

Prediction: Bulls win
