Time Warner Cable SportsNet Announces Deal With Charter Cable

After a summer of uncertainty, one more major television provider has agreed to terms with the Lakers’ new broadcasting home, Time Warner Cable SportsNet. Time Warner announced today that the television provider, Charter Communications, will be carrying the new home of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Below is the statement from Charter:

Charter is making technical preparations, targeting launch on or before October 31, the date for the first regular-season Lakers telecast on the new networks. Time Warner Cable SportsNet and Time Warner Cable Deportes will be available in Southern California communities served by Charter in both Standard Definition (SD) and High Definition (HD) to customers. Time Warner Cable SportsNet will be available in SD on channel 215 and in HD on channel 787; and Time Warner Cable Deportes will be available on SD channel 216 and HD channel 788.
