3. Norm Nixon After the top two on the list it became more difficult to decide which guards to list after Johnson and Fisher. Our decision for the third PG on the All-Time Lakers list was Norm Nixon, who played for the Lakers from 1977 to 1983. He was the point guard for two Lakers championships, in 1980 and 1982, and was also a two time NBA All-Star. He earned a reputation as one of the toughest players on those Lakers titles teams, often playing through injuries, and led the Lakers in scoring in the 1982 playoffs.
