Halloween is a day for dressing up and wearing costumes you wouldn’t generally wear on a regular day. In honor of Halloween here’s a look back at five of the scariest costumes we’ve ever seen from the Lakers, both on and off the court.
5. Shaquille O’Neal’s Pink Bikini
There are a variety of costumes we could choose for O’Neal. He seemed to be a walking fashion disaster. Regardless, it didn’t get much worse than seeing Shaq’s rather obtuse backside pouring out of a far-too-skimpy bikini bottom.
4. Lakers Go Old-School With Short-Shorts vs. Celtics
Most teams rock throw-back jerseys on a regular basis. Well, back in 2008 the Lakers rocked throw-back shorts against the Boston Celtics. It wasn’t pretty.

3. Ron Artest’s Bad Hair Day
With the Lakers in the playoffs looking for a second straight title Ron Artest decided to celebrate by dying his hair. Teammate D.J. Mbenga did the same thing, and the look wasn’t flattering for either of them.
2. Rick Fox Goes Dancing
Rick Fox was one of many Lakers who lived the ‘Hollywood’ life as well as being an NBA player. After he retired he spent some time on ABC’s hit reality show Dancing with the Stars. Unfortunately one of the suits he wore on the show was anything but stellar.
