What’s better than the Lakers No. 2 draft pick singing (and, I use that term loosely) Rihanna’s ‘Diamonds’ to a crowd of a couple hundred people in a poodle-like onesie costume after two hours of practice?

As someone who was in attendance: nothing.

On Thursday night, Brandon Ingram was saved for last at the rookie talent show, and despite an absolutely terrible rendition of one of Rihanna’s most popular songs, accompanied by questionable dance moves, Ingram still didn’t take home the trophy.

Ingram’s competition was No. 32 draft pick Ivica Zubac (singing ‘Single Ladies’ by Beyonce), Zach Auguste (singing ‘A Thousand Miles,’ by Vanessa Carlton) and Julian Jacobs (singing ‘Roar’ by Katy Perry). The judges were the fans, students and professors in attendance of the open practice, who were asked to cheer for their favorite after the show.

It was a close call…do you think the judges got it right?
