Los Aneles Lakers head coach Byron Scott is already missing having Nick Young out on the practice floor. Young, who had surgery for a torn ligament in his thumb on Monday, is sitting out of practice for the next couple days and that includes conditioning drills. Scott, who was hoping Young would still be able to participate in conditioning, hinted that they’ll be ramping up the conditioning for Young once he returns.
“I’m going to get the last laugh,” Scott assured after practice.
Young though, who preferred not to chat with the media while exclaiming that he’s “on medication” before dipping into the training facility, was still all smiles while walking around the court.
A reporter asked Scott what he’d have to do to get Young to wipe the smile off his face. Check out our video above for Scott’s answer.
