The Los Angeles Lakers finally snapped their preseason losing streak on Sunday night, overcoming a 22-point deficit to beat the Utah Jazz. Carlos Boozer was instrumental in the win, putting up 19 points and nine rebounds to go along with his impressive defensive effort that amounted to six steals.

After the game, Boozer credited his teammates, especially Ronnie Price.

“Ronnie’s playing a lot of minutes right now, playing phenomenal. Ronnie’s in here practicing here every day, going hard every practice, playing through injuries, setting our defense up, playing well on offense. I give him a lot of credit.”

In our video above, Boozer also praises Julius Randle, and says in order for the Lakers to win their year, they’ve got to play gritty.
