Former Los Angeles Laker forward Devin Ebanks was stopped on the way into LAX airport over the weekend and asked an off-the-wall question about one of his former teammates from a TMZ reporter.

Ebanks was asked if Kobe Bryant had ever taken a helicopter to Lakers practice saying the following via TMZ:

After three seasons with the Lakers, Ebanks was not retained by the storied franchise and attempted to make the Dallas Mavericks roster, but came up short.

Now Ebanks is playing in the D-League for the Springfield Armor and recently was named an All-Star with the Texas Legends before being traded on Feb. 20.
