VIDEO: Ed Davis After His First Lakers Start

With Carlos Boozer sidelined due to shoulder soreness, power forward Ed Davis was given a chance to prove himself in the starting lineup Sunday night when the Los Angeles Lakers took on the Denver Nuggets at Staples Center.

Before Sunday, Davis led the bench in scoring eight times this season, reaching double digits in scoring in six of them.

In their overtime loss to the Nuggets, Davis got into foul trouble early, and ultimately fouled out of the game. He finished with four points, five rebounds and one block.

In our post-game video above, Davis talks about the difference between starting and coming off the bench and how that effects his aggressiveness. Davis also tweaked his right ankle in the loss and discusses whether or not he’s worried about it.
