It comes as no surprise Nick Young’s dolphin story has become a joke for many. As usual, Young came out of leftfield with his dolphin drama and now it has been flipped into taking a shot at rapper girlfriend, Iggy Azalea.

ESPN’s Robert Flores said the following about the star couple in his “What did we learn?” segment recently:
“And what did we learn? We learned that according to the Lakers’ Nick Young, a dolphin recently tried to kill him. So Nick while dolphins are trying to kill you, your girlfriend is trying to kill hip hop—let’s call it even, ok?”
A few weeks ago, the Los Angeles Lakers star talked about his fear of dolphins following the team’s practice in El Segundo. Young’s fear of dolphins comes from a supposedly terrifying experience he had in which he claims a dolphin tried to kill him while on his vacation with Azalea in Cabos San Lucas.
