The first trailer for the documentary was just released courtesy of Sports Illustrated, who recently did a feature on Bryant. In the trailer, Kobe spoke about sacrificing, and had some chilling words about not settling for normal:

We can always kinda be average and just do what’s normal. I’m not in this to do what’s normal.

The feature story on Bryant includes tons of excellent stories and anecdotes about his trip to China. Kobe also spoke about his leadership skills, and evolving his game.

This documentary will delve deeper into Kobe himself. It should be an excellent look into the Kobe Bryant that the fans don’t get to see, and should be a must-see film for any basketball fan.

While there is no exact date yet, the documentary will air this fall.
