Every summer, “Ironman” AC Green, hosts a summer basketball skills and leadership training camp for kids. This summer was his 24th summer of hosting the camp, and Lakers Nation dropped by his first camp at Rancho Dominguez Preparatory School.
The focus of the camp is to encourage leaders amongst children who would have otherwise been forgotten. Although each morning begins with basketball skills training, the rest of the camp focuses on providing children with the knowledge and tools for success. The campers partake in nutrition lessons, financial literacy and development courses and learn about career choices and the importance of independence.
