While D’Angelo Russell is expected to work out on Saturday, the franchise has not been able to schedule one with the top prospect in this year’s draft, Karl-Anthony Towns.

Since the NBA Draft Lottery last month, there have been conflicting reports on who the Timberwolves will select with their first overall pick. Should Towns not be available, the Lakers are considering Okafor, Russell or Kristaps Porzingis.
