The Los Angeles Lakers won a thriller last night in Staples Center against the Brooklyn Nets, for Mike D’Antoni’s first win with the team. Even though the Lakers shot 19-37 from the free-throw line, they made the crucial ones down the stretch in the fourth quarter.

The team’s star Kobe Bryant, as usual, came up clutch when the game mattered the most and got the easy points from the line. In one of his trips, Bryant had some words to say to Nets’ Gerald Wallace. Bryant asked Wallace to donate $5,000 to his foundation if he ended up knocking down the free throws.

Bryant later told NBA TV  that Wallace did not accept the offer, a good decision as he made both of the attempts.

Bryant: “How much you want to put on it? How much you want to put? Five grand? Right here?”
