The 2014 FIFA World Cup is only a few weeks away and some of North America’s biggest stars will have their eyes glued to Brazil. Kobe Bryant has expressed his love for soccer and the Los Angeles Lakers guard played the game as a kid when he lived in Italy.

In this recent commercial, Bryant starred alongside Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck for Panini’s new World Cup Sticker Collection. Both star athletes hit the soccer field before excelling in their respective sports and will not forget how soccer helped shape their careers as professionals.

Bryant has been absent from the basketball court for many months now, but as summer kicks in high gear, he hopes to once again regain his strength. As much as Lakers fans love seeing Bryant appear on entertaining commercials, there is nothing like the thrill of watching Kobe take over a basketball game and have the Staples Center crowd on its feet.
