In the Los Angeles Lakers’ previous game, Kobe Bryant had a chance to tie the game at the buzzer and barely missed the shot. In the game against the Indiana Pacers, Kobe had a chance to redeem himself and he made sure he did.

With the Lakers down one with under 20 seconds remaining, Kobe took Solomon Hill down to the post and got right to his spot to knock down a short jump hook that was the difference in the Lakers’ 88-87 victory.

Bryant had another excellent all-around performance scoring 20 points on only 14 shots and adding six rebounds and six assists. In the fourth quarter, however, he was vintage Kobe putting the Lakers on his back down the stretch and leading them to a win.

Many people pointed out that Kobe has missed his last few clutch shots. In fact ESPN Stats said Kobe hadn’t made a game-winning or tying shot since 2012. That didn’t matter tonight as great players take the tough shots and Kobe came through when it counted this time.
