Now in his 19th season, the athleticism of Kobe Bryant is expected to be diminished as he is now 36 years old. But on occasions, Kobe can turn back the clock, and tonight he did that early in the game against the Clippers.

With former teammate Matt Barnes guarding him, Kobe quickly went baseline before exploding up and under the rim and throwing down a huge one-handed tomahawk jam.

Lakers fans haven’t had much to cheer for this season with two blowout losses, and the loss of prized rookie Julius Randle ruining the early part of the regular season, but this should at least bring a smile to fans who want to see Kobe return to his previous level of greatness.

As the years have gone on, Kobe hasn’t produced highlights as frequently as he used to. But tonight, he showed he still has it when he needs to. Hopefully this won’t be the only time Kobe puts someone on a poster.
