The 2003-2004 season was not one that ended well for the Lakers as they fell to the Detroit Pistons in the NBA Finals 4-1. The team was subsequently blown up that offseason as the Lakers traded Shaq to the Miami Heat, released point guard Gary Payton, and Karl Malone retired.

For Kobe Bryant, this was the season where you really started to see his game round out, and this top 10 plays video from that season shows it. It’s not just a highlight reel of dunks and athletic plays. This video displays multiple different aspects including left handed shots, clutch plays, and of course, the athletic feats Kobe is famous for.
