VIDEO: Kobe Talks Missed Free Throws, Lin Not Motivated By Anger

Kobe Bryant said he was motivated by anger in the Lakers overtime win over the Toronto Raptors Sunday night. Prior to Sunday, the Lakers had lost four straight, including three very close games, with just one home win all season long. Bryant also said he hopes that anger continues through the Lakers upcoming road trip, as he believes he plays better when he’s mad.

Kobe Bryant has had a rough time from the charity stripe so far this season, especially late in games, usually falling short. Bryant was 9-13 from the free throw line against the Toronto Raptors, missing crucial free throws down the stretch. For the season, Bryant’s just under 80 percent. In our Lakers vs. Raptors post-game, Bryant discusses his missed free throws and what he needs to adjust.

The Lakers head to Detroit on Monday morning and prepare for another three-game roadtrip, with one back-to-back. The Lakers will return to Staples Center on Sunday to face off against the New Orleans Pelicans.
